Mahjong tiles
A Taiwanese set has 34 different tiles, four copies of each, plus eight flower and season bonus tiles — 144 in all. There are three numbered suits running 1–9, four wind tiles, and three dragons. Each tile below shows its face and Chinese name; follow any tile for how it scores.

Flowers & seasons
Eight bonus tiles sit outside the suits — the four flowers (梅蘭菊竹) and four seasons (春夏秋冬). They never form part of a hand but each scores a bonus point. See the flower & season tiles →
